A Modern Approach to Bible Study

Boring is not a word in our ministry vocabulary!

We’re here to make learning about God, the Bible, and the Christian lifestyle interesting and effective in the lives of young adults. Our modern approach to Bible study incorporates elements that encourages audience interaction and keeps our attendees engaged. Got the Bible app on your phone? Like to play online Bible trivia? Cool! We support technology use during Bible study as a resource to learn. We also use visual slideshows, play videos, and listen to songs at most Bible studies. This modern approach helps our ministry to have real-life conversations that are open, honest, and transparent.

  • We start Bible Study with a warm welcome at 7:00 pm EST.

  • We keep you in-the-know of upcoming Bible studies, events, and other helpful resources.

To receive weekly text alerts, text “FPF” to 55469.

  • At Faith Point Fellowship, we promote happiness through laughter. Proverbs 17:22 says, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.” Who doesn’t like laughing at a good dad joke?

  • We understand that attending a new church may make you nervous. We incorporate a short connection activity so everyone can start feeling right at home.

  • The word “covenant” simply means “promise.” The purpose of having a ministry covenant is so attendees have a safe space to be their authentic selves.

  • We love to celebrate your accomplishments and hear about what you are grateful for. We also want to lift up any prayer requests or concerns you may have in your life or in the lives of others.

  • The Pastoral Intern will pray over the celebrations and concerns.

  • The Pastoral Intern gives a lesson based on the Word of God. We have open conservations and welcome any questions.

On Thirsty Thursday Worship, praise and worship will happen prior to the sermon. Communion is also served.

  • Before departing, the Pastoral Intern ends with a prayer.

The connections I have made through Faith Point have help me reach a new level of understanding of God's strength and the role He has in my life. There are things you don't realize you need in your life until God offers them to you. Faith Point is one of those things to me.
