Our Mission
Welcome to Faith Point Fellowship, a dynamic worshiping community nestled in the heart of Greensboro, North Carolina, and proudly hosted by Saint James Presbyterian Church. Our mission is to empower and inspire young adults aged 18–40, especially those from the vibrant HBCU communities of Bennett College and North Carolina A&T State University, to forge a deep connection with Christ and the faith community. We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of young Christian leaders, equipping them with the tools and wisdom to follow Jesus fearlessly, wherever their life's journey may lead.
At Faith Point Fellowship, we believe in the transformative power of service, outreach, and authentic conversations about God. Our weekly Bible study sessions are designed to ignite passionate discussions and foster spiritual growth, while our innovative worship experiences aim to break the mold and resonate with the unique needs and aspirations of young adults. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can explore their faith, ask bold questions, and find the support and guidance they need to thrive.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the one triune God fully made known to us in Jesus Christ and who has bestowed the Holy Spirit to help us live a life of compassion and justice for all of God’s creation.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we might be a blessing to a broken world. Jesus Christ heals our brokenness and offers us salvation. When we submit our lives to Christ, we are transformed by the grace of God so that we might represent the love of Christ in the world.
We believe the Church is a powerful witness to Christ’s love in the world and a necessary gathering for those who will follow Christ. All are welcomed in the community of faith. There is no room for discrimination, racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, classism, and any form of oppression.
We believe the Bible is the word of God bearing witness to the living Word, Jesus Christ. The Bible guides our daily living and spiritual formation.
